What The Upsert is

The Upsert is an independent publication about the layer between enterprise systems: integration, data movement and the AI reshaping both. It is written and run by Leonardo Quisbert Parra. Everything on it is published for general information.

It is not professional advice

Articles describe how products and systems work, based on the vendors' own documentation and on experience. Products change often, and something accurate on the day of publishing may be out of date later. Check the current vendor documentation and test in a sandbox before you change a system that matters. What you do with the information is your decision and your responsibility.

Independence and trademarks

The Upsert has no commercial relationship with the vendors it covers. If that ever changes, for example through an affiliate link or a sponsorship, it will be disclosed in the article it affects. Product and company names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Mentioning a product does not mean it is affiliated with The Upsert or endorses it.

Accuracy and corrections

Claims are checked against primary sources, and where something couldn't be verified the article says so. Mistakes still happen. If you find one, tell the author using the contact details below. Corrections are made in the article and its updated date changes.

Content and copyright

The articles, images and diagrams are the property of Leonardo Quisbert Parra and The Upsert. You are welcome to quote short excerpts with credit and a link back to the article. Please don't republish full articles or images without written permission.

The RSS feed

The site publishes an RSS feed so you can read it in a feed reader. You may show its content there with attribution to The Upsert and a link to the article. Please don't add advertising to it, remove the attribution or links, or change its content. The feed may be changed or discontinued at any time.

The newsletter

The newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. The Upsert may change its format or stop publishing it. How your email address is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Using the site

Please don't disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or try to break into it or the services behind it. The Upsert may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site or the newsletter at any time, and may block access that harms it.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, message the author using the contact details below with the address of the page, what you believe is infringed and how to reach you. It will be reviewed and, where it's justified, removed.

Links to other websites

Articles link to third-party sites. The Upsert does not control them and is not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

No warranty, and limits on liability

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, The Upsert and its author are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bolivia, where the author is based. This doesn't take away any protection that the law of your own country gives you and that can't be waived by agreement.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
